Arnold Schwarzenegger was paid $15 million for Terminator 2: Judgement Day.  This means that the 700 words he spoke cost $21,429 per word.  Therefore, “Hasta la vista, baby” cost a cool $85,716. Wow!

Star Trek’s Captain James T. Kirk’s middle name is Tiberius.

The Walt Disney Company was founded in 1923.  Four years later Walt dreamed up the idea of an animated  mouse named Mortimor Mouse. His wife Lillian didn’t like it and suggested Mickey Mouse.

Mel Banc was allergic to carrots. He was the voice of Bugs Bunny.

Clint Eastwood wrote the theme tunes for Unforgiven, Absolute Power, A Perfect World and The Bridges of Madison County.

Alfred Hitchcock never won an Oscar for directing. He did, however, direct Blackmail in 1931 – the first ever talking film made in England.
