How is a rainbow created?

We all love the sight of a beautiful rainbow in the sky but have you ever wondered how it’s created.

A rainbow is made up when a white light is being refracted  as it passes through different media, like raindrops of thin layers of oil.

The sunlight passing through the rain or mist of a fountain can create a rainbow too.

If you can’t remember all the colours of the rainbow, here’s a sentence to help you – ‘Richard Of York Gave Battle In Vain’ so that’s Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet.
