What is a Palaeontologist?

Paleontologist at workA palaeontologist is a scientist who specializes in the study of fossils and tries to reconstruct the history of the Earth and the life on it from millions of years ago.

Palaeontologists are often curious and patient people as they have to take their time to explore,  study and piece together their findings.

Sometimes they can recovery a number of fossils from the ground which have been preserved well.

A palaeontologist named Roy Andrews discovered the first dinosaur egg in Mongolia.
